The K’asho Got’ı̨nę Housing Society (KGHS) is a community-led non-profit organization in Fort Good Hope, NT. It was founded in Fall 2016 by the Yamoga Land Corporation’s Board of Directors, following the Sahtú Dene and Métis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (SDMCLA).
The community’s earlier success inspired this initiative. In the 1970s, when the K’ásho Got’ı̨nę Band helped residents build their own homes using public funding, creating both housing and hands-on construction experience that built pride and confidence.

In 2017, KGHS led a major housing assessment, The State of Housing in Fort Good Hope , based on community interviews and meetings.
